MASH UP!!

OK so I've been behind so this is my mash up and I'll try not to forget anything.

November Events:

* Sis. Tataipu has returned from serving her mission in CEBU, PHILLIPINES. This girl is my closest friend.  She has been there for me many times and has always been someone I admire. We went through High school, the Young Womans Program and have even worked together. I've missed her so much. The day after she returned home she invited us to have bbq at her house in Kahuku. Saia and I went and I enjoyed "catching up" with her.

* Elder Loli is a Zone Leader in San Pedro. If you don't already know Elder Loli is my younger brother. He is serving his mission in LOS ANGELES. He's doing very well. He loves the work. He has 6 more months left!! Can you believe it?! They say the first year is always hard but after that the second year FLIES BY...so true.

* This news is like months old but Brian my older brother  (the oldest of us four) and his family have moved to GEORGIA. :( He's a Firefighter for the Army. I really miss him a lot too. ok well scratch that I really miss my niece and my nephew more..haha. I'm hoping everything works out and they come back home  to visit when Bruce returns from his mission.

* THANKSGIVING!! This year was a bummer.  Everyone is scattered around the universe. We both had to work that morning. When we got home everyone was either done eating or leaving to go to work but, the food was awsome and I am very thankful for everything that I have.
Ok I think thats about it. DECEMBER is here! It feels like its going by quickly and next thing you know its 2012. Some things to look forward to in December.. Oh today, two years ago the guy that I married asked me out..HAPPY TWO YEARS HUNNAYY!! My cousin Margie and my Aunty from Australia are coming to visit Hawaii at the ending of the month. I'm excited for that!! Of course we can't forget about CHRISTMAS!! I haven't done any shopping yet.. one of my co-workers asked me the other day when am I going to start doing my shopping I told her "hmmm...I gotta go check what day my husband's next payday lands on." She cracked up laughing and said thats a good answer.

OUR 90 DAY CHALLENGE and its not P90X

Since getting married the husband and I have put on a lot of weight. A whole lot of people have commented on it too. I've heard people telling us things like "you must be really happy" "you two are getting BIG" "thats what happens when you get married" and the one that always gets on my nerves "are you pregnant?" to that I just say NO I'm just fat and they get all shame and say "oh sorry."  I've always been a big girl, but this time I really feel like a fatty..haha. clothes that use to fit don't and I went clothes shopping recently and I tell you my size OKA OKA OKA (smh) has gone UP.

Last week I came across a post on facebook about this dude losing  A LOT of weight within the first month of using this product (40 pounds to be exact). I immediately asked for more info since the post was put up by a friend from church that Saia knew also. We exchanged numbers and he gave me a site to go on and watch the videos to see exactly what the product was all about. As I was watching the video I was thinking this looks like something we can do. I seen lots of couples on the video that were using the product together and got great results. After we both watched the video I asked Saia what he thinks about it and he said yeah lets try. We gave our friend a call and met up with him to learn more. Man this guy (Kaleo) was more excited then we were. We put our order in last monday and got our package on friday.

I started making my shakes saturday and Saia started today. Whooa it tastes soo yummy..and we can still eat the foods we like. I'm determined to stick to it and really see if it works for us I mean what do we have to lose?...just weight. SO if works you'll definately be seeing some changes and maybe want to join us..their thing is that the product is for ANYBODY and ANY BODY. Wheather youre already active and want to get more in shape or like me a fatty. IF it doesn't work you will definately be hearing about on here.

Today is DAY TWO for me and DAY ONE for hubby. I told him he shouldve started on the same day..now I'm going to be skinnier before him..LOL.

..Its a Love story baby just say yeah...

How we "met".. Its kind of a funny/weird story. We knew of each other because we were in the same stake (Honolulu West) He was in Moanalua 2nd Ward and I was in Kalihi Ward, but we never actually talked to each other. I was the young single adult rep in my ward and he was his in his ward so we saw each other in the stake meetings and still never talked to each other. Until after one of our stake meetings I was walking out to the parking lot to meet my dad, but on my way out the meeting I heard "Lisa wait" it was Elisaia. I was thinking "what does this guy want?" and "only my family calls me Lisa" Nobody ever talks to me during or after the meeting (I was still new to the YSA so I didn't really know anyone.) It was just small talk. I went home and thought nothing more of it.

At that time the YSA in our stake were preparing for the Regional Conference. Each stake was to come up with a Fairtale play for the Roadshow. We did our CTR Cinderella Story. During the practices I started to notice him. Eventhough he talked to Bruce more..but now that I think of it I think he wanted to be cool with the brother before making his move.haha. Conference came and went. Nothing came of it. Eventually my family moved out the stake boundaries and moved back into Honolulu Stake.

Bruce and I started to attend Institute. Someone invited us to play volleyball at the Tab after institute so we went. We got there and who did we see..haha.During one of the games Saia asked me if we really moved I told him yeah. He made a sad face. I was thinking "why you sad for?..we weren't even close.) haha.

The first dance Bruce and I went to since moving was hosted by the Institute I wasn't really looking forward to it since I still didn't know anyone, but it beats staying home so I went. During the dance Saia popped into where we were he said Hi and moved on. At one point I just wasn't into the dance and sat watching Bruce make a fool of himself dancing with whoever. lol. Saia sat next to me. We talked and he asked me if I had a phone. I said yeah. He just nodded his head. I waited awhile and then asked him do you want my number? or not? hahaha..thats where it all started. We always crack up thinking about that night. Eventually Saia told me this guy in his ward was telling everyone I was engaged to him so thats why Saia never made his move while I was in the same Stake. Oh well better late then never yeah?

Saia was my first (and last) boyfriend ever. I've never dated during high school or anything. I guess its true when they say "you just know." I couldn't ask for a better Husband. We've been through a lot in our first year of marriage. Lots of ups and downs of  course more ups than downs. We are working on getting sealed in the temple. I can't wait.

...joining the club...

I finally made a blog. I've seen others and always wanted to start one. I still have to get familiarized with the whole thing. It kind of reminds me of xanga (before facebook there was myspace before myspace there was xanga.) So pretty much this will be my online journal. That's all for now.
